Worldcat shows 214 pages but this ends the Appendix mid-sentence. The last word on page 216 is Amen. Owner name, Hiram Headley with date May 1823 on first pages. Cover detached from book block at front between front free endpaper and title page. Pages show liquid stain in first portion of book, foxing spots throughout. Printing in perimeter of pages is readable but sometimes light or visibly faint. Book block bound tight. Darker leather overlay on spine where presumably title would be, evidence but not of overlay near spine tail shows 3 small wear holes. A total of 1000 copies were printed by Campbell for the first printing. Walker argues for infant baptism by reason of the rite being the New Testament replacement for circumcision, the symbol of the covenant God made with Abraham.
