• GOLD symbolizes the Risen Christ
• REDis the blood of the New Covenant, given and shed for our sins.
• POINTED BEAMS show that Jesus goes out to the whole world with the gift of salvation.  “Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.” (Mt. 18)
• SUNFLOWERCENTER:  The sunflower always turns its face to the light.  Jesus is the “Light of the World.” (John 8:12)  There are three flowers, symbolizing the Holy Trinity, Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
• WHITE BACKGROUND is how we are with Jesus forgiveness, “Wash me, and I will be whiter than snow.” (Ps. 51)
• QUILTING STRIPESstand for the wounds that heal. “And with His stripes we are healed.” (Is. 53:5)
